Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa named Best Culinary Resort at TTM Awards 2026
Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa has been named Best Culinary Resort 2026 at the TTM Awards, marking the second time in three years that the Noonu Atoll property has received the culinary title.
The resort also received Best Beach Villa Resort 2026, securing two honours at this year’s awards organised by Travel Trade Maldives.
For Kuredhivaru’s culinary and food and beverage teams, the Best Culinary Resort award recognises a dining programme that spans seafood, Japanese-inspired cuisine, international dishes, wine pairings and personalised destination dining.

The resort has placed food and beverage as a central part of its guest experience, offering different cuisines and dining formats across its outlets rather than approaching gastronomy as a single restaurant experience.
Menus are developed around quality ingredients while providing guests with a range of flavours, preparations and settings during their stay. The programme also incorporates wine pairing, bringing the beverage team into the wider culinary experience and creating opportunities to match individual dishes and menus with selected wines.
Second culinary title in three years
The 2026 accolade follows Kuredhivaru’s Best Culinary Resort 2024 title at the TTM Awards, giving the resort its second win in the category in three years.
For a resort culinary operation, repeat recognition places particular emphasis on consistency. Maldives resort kitchens operate across multiple outlets and dining formats, requiring chefs, pastry teams, stewards, sommeliers and front-of-house professionals to maintain standards while catering to guests with different dietary requirements and culinary preferences.

Destination dining adds another operational dimension, taking food and service beyond conventional restaurant environments and requiring coordination between culinary and F&B teams to deliver private and personalised experiences around the island.
Kuredhivaru’s dining programme combines these different components, with seafood and Japanese-influenced dishes sitting alongside international favourites and wine-led experiences.
The recognition also comes after the resort received a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2026, further highlighting the role of wine and beverage service within its broader F&B programme.
Recognition for the teams behind the experience
The TTM Awards recognise resorts and tourism businesses operating across the Maldives, with categories covering accommodation, dining, wellness and other areas of the guest experience.
For chefs and F&B professionals, culinary awards provide recognition not only for individual dishes or menus but for the wider operation required to deliver dining consistently across a resort.

Behind each service is a network of culinary professionals responsible for procurement, preparation, production, pastry, menu development and kitchen operations, working alongside restaurant service and beverage teams.
Kuredhivaru’s latest award therefore reflects the collective work involved in maintaining its culinary programme across different cuisines and dining environments.
Alongside its culinary title, Kuredhivaru was named Best Beach Villa Resort 2026, recognising its beachfront accommodation in Noonu Atoll. The resort previously received the TTM award for Best Beach Resort in 2023.
The two 2026 awards continue a run of recognition for the property, but for its culinary team, the return of the Best Culinary Resort title provides a specific acknowledgement of the role gastronomy continues to play within the Kuredhivaru experience.
