JOALI BEING launches summer programme with culinary workshops for young guests
JOALI BEING has announced the 2026 edition of its annual B’Kidult Summer Programme, with culinary workshops among the key activities designed for children and teenagers visiting the well-living island.
The programme will take place from 1 July to 31 August 2026 under the theme Transform, Recharge & Flow. It is designed to offer young guests a structured programme of movement, discovery, creativity and wellbeing, while giving families opportunities to spend time together during their stay.
For chefs and culinary professionals, one of the main highlights is Kitchen Quest, a hands-on culinary experience that introduces young guests to mindful cooking and global flavours. The activity is designed to build confidence in the kitchen while encouraging curiosity about ingredients, food preparation and the role of cooking in wellbeing.
The inclusion of culinary workshops reflects a growing trend in resort programming, where food and beverage teams are increasingly involved in guest experiences beyond restaurants and standard dining operations. Through activities such as Kitchen Quest, young guests are introduced to food as part of learning, creativity and family engagement.
The B’Kidult Summer Programme will offer complimentary three-day journeys for children and teenagers, with morning and afternoon sessions. The activities cover a range of interests, including sport, marine conservation, fitness, arts and ocean-based experiences.
Other highlights include Mini Marine Biologist, where children take part in conservation-focused experiences such as marine life discovery, coral planting and turtle rescue efforts with the island’s marine experts. Ocean Heroes will introduce young guests to snorkelling, kayaking, Seabob experiences and marine discovery.
The programme will also feature Padel Champs, Football Camp, Tennis Academy, Muay Thai, Fitness Academy, Swim Stars and Art Explorers Club. The art sessions will be guided by resident artist Kurahaa Rappe and will include painting, paper art and nature-inspired creative activities.
While children participate in the programme, parents will be able to take part in JOALI BEING’s wider well-living experiences. The island’s approach is centred on restoration, reconnection and renewal, supported by wellbeing experts and personalised guest journeys.
The resort said the programme is intended to create a balance between family connection and personal restoration. Children are encouraged to explore the island through structured experiences, while adults are offered space to recharge.
The B’Kidult Summer Programme is also linked to the resort’s Kids of JOALI offer. Under the offer, up to two children aged between two and 11 can stay and dine on a complimentary basis, with special rates on return seaplane transfers. The offer is available for bookings made by 31 August 2026 for stays until 10 October 2026.
The summer programme coincides with JOALI BEING’s year-round calendar of B’Kidult experiences, with activities offered complimentary for guests of the resort.
Villas at JOALI BEING start from USD 1,928 per night for two guests sharing an Ocean Pool Villa on a bed and breakfast basis.
