The Maldives Chefs’ Forum
The Maldives Chefs’ Forum is an initiative by Bestbuy Maldives (BBM) that brings together an international panel of executive chefs to nurture and develop the country’s culinary talent.
It is an open and unbiased communication portal that promotes the professional image of Maldivian chefs worldwide. Chefs of all nationalities can come together at this hub of excellence to contribute and participate in the nation’s culinary expansion.
Initiatives will focus on open learning, empowering local Maldivian and other chefs working in the Maldives, and being a voice of culinary excellence and development. The platform will also benefit companies involved in the Maldivian hospitality industry, through opportunities to display wares, promote offers, and network with the next generation of talent.

The Maldives Chefs’ Forum Panel
This panel will comprise six executive chefs selected based on their neutrality, fairness, and ability to build the platform. At least one seat will be reserved for a Maldivian national. The remaining members shall be from different nationalities; except for the Maldives, no country can have more than one representative.
Members will be
appointed to have a fair voice, ensuring that no nation is unfairly or over represented.
Together, they will chart the way forward for The Maldives Chefs’ Forum, with a
steadfast focus on developing the Culinary scene in the Maldives.
