Hard Rock Hotel Maldives blends Maldivian cuisine and entertainment for Eid Al-Adha

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is preparing to host a two-day Eid Al-Adha celebration on 27 and 28 May 2026, with a programme centred on Maldivian cuisine, live entertainment and family-oriented experiences.

The resort’s Eid festivities will place a particular focus on food and beverage experiences at Sessions, the hotel’s all-day dining venue, where guests will be introduced to a series of festive culinary offerings inspired by local traditions.

The celebrations will begin with a Rockin’ Breakfast Eid Corner at Sessions, featuring themed breakfast selections designed for the holiday period. The resort will later present a dedicated Eid Buffet with a Maldivian Corner, showcasing local flavours and dishes as part of the evening dining experience.

For hospitality and culinary professionals, the programme reflects the increasing integration of cultural storytelling into resort dining concepts, with food experiences positioned alongside entertainment and interactive guest engagement.

Beyond the culinary offerings, the resort’s schedule includes wellness activities, family entertainment and cultural showcases across the property. Guests can participate in dance fitness sessions, while younger visitors will take part in creative workshops at Roxity Kids Club®, including palm leaf folding activities rooted in local tradition.

Beachfront experiences will also form part of the programme, with families invited to join tie-dye sessions at The Elephant & The Butterfly. The venue’s casual beachfront setting continues to support the resort’s focus on combining lifestyle dining with experiential programming.

One of the main cultural highlights will be the Bodu Mas Maali Eid Parade, bringing traditional Maldivian performances and festivities to the island environment. Evening programming will continue with live music performances, acoustic sessions, karaoke entertainment and staged performances including the Ocean Night Show and Tribal Fire Night Show by Athena & Willy.

Frederic Lebegue, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, said the resort aims to create an Eid celebration that combines togetherness, entertainment and cultural experiences for guests and families.

Set within Crossroads Maldives, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives continues to expand its entertainment-led hospitality offering through themed dining experiences, live performances and family-focused programming tailored to both international visitors and residents in the Maldives.
