Coco Collection spotlights Maldivian cuisine and island traditions for Eid escapes

Coco Collection has launched a special Eid programme at Coco Bodu Hithi and Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, placing Maldivian cuisine, cultural traditions and island hospitality at the centre of the guest experience during Eid al-Adha.

Valid for stays from 21 to 31 May 2026, the Coco Eid Escape package combines curated dining experiences with traditional performances and wellness activities, while also highlighting the group’s focus on Maldivian heritage and sustainability.

At Coco Bodu Hithi, guests will be presented with a mix of international and local cuisine on Eid Day, alongside cultural experiences including Liyela Jehun and Henna Art. The evening culinary and entertainment programme will conclude with a Bodumas show followed by a Boduberu performance.

The resort is also offering up to 50% savings on villa stays and shared return speedboat transfers, together with a complimentary meal plan upgrade and an additional 20% saving on food and beverages. Families travelling for the holiday will benefit from complimentary stays, dining and transfers for up to two children under 12 years old.

For culinary-focused travellers, the Eid celebrations at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu will place stronger emphasis on traditional Maldivian flavours and communal dining experiences. The resort’s Cowrie restaurant will serve a selection of Maldivian delicacies during lunch and dinner service throughout the celebrations.

The island’s Eid programme will also include Bodumas performances, traditional games and a colour party, before concluding with Eid Sai Fodhu, a Maldivian-style high tea featuring local savouries and sweet delicacies.

Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Baa Atoll, is additionally offering guests a 50% saving on its Half Board meal plan with a complimentary upgrade to All-Inclusive and a further 20% reduction on spa treatments.

Beyond the culinary experiences, the resort continues to integrate sustainability and conservation into its guest offering through its partnership with the Olive Ridley Project at the island’s Marine Turtle Rescue Centre. Guests are able to participate in marine talks, educational sessions and sea turtle rehabilitation activities during their stay.
