Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa to showcase Middle Eastern Eid feast and Maldivian traditions
Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa has unveiled its Eid al-Adha programme, placing a strong focus on Middle Eastern culinary traditions, live cooking experiences and Maldivian cultural celebrations aimed at families visiting the resort during the holiday period.
A key highlight of the celebrations will take place on May 27 with a market-style Eid Feast designed to showcase the culinary heritage of the Middle East. Chefs from the region will prepare a selection of traditional dishes inspired by authentic recipes, bringing together live cooking stations and classic regional flavours.
The dining experience will feature a live grill serving shish tawook, lamb kebab and chermoula fish, alongside a falafel bazaar and shawarma station. Guests will also be offered a selection of mezze, dolma, chicken kabsa rice and lamb tagine.
For pastry and dessert enthusiasts, the Eid menu will conclude with traditional sweets including umm Ali and basbousa, reflecting the importance of desserts within Middle Eastern festive dining culture.
The resort said the Eid dinner experience will be complemented by live entertainment, creating an outdoor celebration under the stars for families and guests.
Beyond the culinary programme, the resort is also incorporating Maldivian traditions into its Eid activities. Families and children will have opportunities to participate in cultural experiences such as Eid card making, henna art and traditional palm leaf weaving at Krakengiri Kids’ Club.
The celebrations will also include a “Bodu Mas” and “Maali” parade inspired by traditional island festivities in the Maldives. The procession will feature drumming, dancing and costumes associated with local Eid celebrations across the country.
In addition to its dining experiences, the resort is promoting wellness-focused treatments at Amingiri Spa & Hammam. Signature treatments include the “Ultimate Summer Glow” experience inspired by traditional Maldivian coconut-based beauty rituals, alongside a range of massages, hammam therapies and sleep-wellness programmes.
The resort is also highlighting its accommodation offerings for larger family gatherings during Eid, including its recently introduced six-bedroom Residence and a selection of family beach and overwater villas.
