Amilla Maldives to showcase Maldivian flavours and interactive culinary experiences for Eid al-Adha
Amilla Maldives has announced a four-day Eid al-Adha programme from 27 to 30 May 2026, featuring a series of culinary, cultural and wellness experiences aimed at families and travellers visiting the resort during the holiday period.
For the culinary and hospitality community, the programme places particular focus on interactive dining experiences, Maldivian cuisine and beverage-led events. Guests will be able to take part in sushi-making sessions, Maldivian High Tea experiences and a curated wine tasting at The Cellar Door.
One of the key highlights of the programme is the Maldivian Night at Emperor Beach Club, which will combine traditional cuisine with live music and local entertainment. The event is designed to showcase island flavours and dining traditions within a beachfront setting.
The resort’s Eid celebrations will begin with a Bodu Mas Parade, followed by sunset cocktails and an Eid dinner under the stars. Evening entertainment throughout the programme includes live saxophone performances, shisha experiences and soft live music at Baa Bar.
Alongside the food and beverage offerings, the programme also includes a range of family-oriented and creative activities such as tie-dye workshops, bracelet crafting, beach games and movie nights.
Wellness remains another major component of the celebrations, with sound healing, yoga sessions and spa treatments offered through Javvu Spa. Visiting practitioner Dr. Shagnika Pradhan will also conduct sessions combining natural therapies and yoga practices.
Located in the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, Amilla Maldives operates 67 pool villas and residences and is recognised for its sustainability initiatives and inclusive hospitality approach. The resort is also known for its dietary lifestyle menus catering to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, low-carb and paleo preferences.
