3 chefs, 1 menu: OBLU NATURE Helengeli unveils ‘9-Hands Dinner’ concept
OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO will host a three-day ‘9-Hands Dinner’ event from 25 to 27 May, bringing together chefs from Egypt, Madeira and the Maldives for a collaborative dining experience.
The concept centres on a shared menu developed by three chefs, each contributing dishes that reflect their culinary background, techniques and ingredient choices. The format aims to combine multiple cooking styles within a single service, offering diners a progression of courses shaped by different regional influences.
According to the resort, the event is structured as a multi-sensory experience, with emphasis on presentation, sequencing of dishes and interaction between chefs and guests. The approach aligns with a growing trend in collaborative dining, where chefs work across disciplines to create integrated menus rather than individual standalone dishes.
Alain Trefois, General Manager at the resort, said the initiative is designed to extend beyond conventional dining formats and allow guests to engage more directly with culinary processes.
Anupam Banerjee, Vice President of Food and Beverage at Atmosphere Core, noted that the menu draws on influences from multiple regions, combining local ingredients with international techniques while incorporating sustainability considerations into menu development.
The event will be included within the resort’s guest plan, positioning it as an integrated culinary offering rather than a standalone ticketed experience.
