Thai cuisine, ocean-to-table seafood and international flavours lead Sheraton Maldives festive dining

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa will bring together Thai cuisine, seafood dining and international flavours as part of its festive holiday offering, available for stays from 20 December 2026 to 10 January 2027.

The resort’s Festive Special Offer includes full-board dining across selected restaurants, providing guests with a choice of buffet and à la carte experiences throughout their stay.

For chefs and food and beverage professionals, the dining programme reflects the diversity of cuisines offered across the resort, with Mediterranean, Indian, Mexican, Asian and seafood-focused menus forming part of the experience.

International cuisine across resort restaurants

The culinary journey begins at Feast, where guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast featuring a range of dishes alongside freshly prepared juices, coffee and tea.

Lunch will be offered through a three-course à la carte selection at selected restaurants, with menus drawing on Mediterranean, Indian, Mexican and Asian culinary traditions.

Evenings will provide a choice between buffet dining at Feast and a three-course à la carte experience at selected venues.

The combination of buffet and à la carte dining allows the resort’s culinary teams to present different cuisines and service styles while catering to guests with varying preferences.

For kitchen teams, offering multiple international cuisines requires coordination across preparation, ingredient sourcing and service, particularly during the Christmas and New Year period.

Thai flavours and ocean-to-table seafood

Two of the resort’s dining venues, Baan Thai and Sea Salt, will offer additional culinary experiences during the festive period.

At Baan Thai, guests can explore traditional Thai flavours, while Sea Salt will focus on seafood preparations and ocean-to-table dining inspired by the resort’s Indian Ocean setting.

The festive package provides adult guests with up to USD 45 in dining credit towards experiences at these restaurants.

The inclusion of both venues gives guests opportunities to explore more specialised dining experiences beyond the full-board selection.

For culinary professionals, the two concepts represent different approaches to menu development, from the balance of herbs, spices and aromatics associated with Thai cuisine to the preparation and presentation of seafood.

Festive dining for families

Families will also benefit from the resort’s festive offer, with children aged 11 and under staying and dining free when sharing accommodation with their parents.

The arrangement places family dining alongside the resort’s broader international culinary offering, providing options for different age groups throughout the holiday period.

Beyond food and beverage, the festive package includes up to 20% savings on accommodation, complimentary shared speedboat transfers and access to island experiences, with additional privileges for spa treatments and recreational activities.

Guests are required to book by 15 November 2026 to access the festive offer.

Located on Furanafushi Island, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa will use its restaurant portfolio to provide dining variety throughout Christmas and New Year.

From international buffet selections at Feast and three-course à la carte menus to Thai cuisine at Baan Thai and seafood at Sea Salt, the resort’s culinary programme will offer different approaches to dining during the festive season.
