FireDOOR at Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives wins three World Luxury Awards
FireDOOR, the signature fine-dining restaurant at Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives, has received three accolades at the World Luxury Awards 2026, including a Global Winner title for Best Sunset Views.
The restaurant also secured two Indian Ocean titles: Best Luxury Boutique Resort Restaurant and Best Luxury Waterside Restaurant.
The recognitions form part of nine awards received by Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives across hospitality, dining, wellness and leadership, including two Global Winner titles.
FireDOOR recognised for its dining setting
Located above the Indian Ocean, FireDOOR combines fine dining with panoramic sunset views overlooking the resort’s house reef.
The restaurant features glass-floor elements and an intimate dining setting, incorporating the surrounding marine environment into the guest experience.
Its Global Winner title for Best Sunset Views recognises the restaurant’s location and sunset setting, while the two Indian Ocean awards acknowledge its position within the region’s luxury resort dining sector.
For the resort’s culinary and food and beverage teams, the awards highlight the contribution of restaurant concepts and service environments to the wider dining experience.
FireDOOR’s recognition also reflects the role of destination dining within Maldives resort hospitality, where restaurant design, location and food and beverage service come together to create experiences beyond conventional dining spaces.
Nine awards across resort operations
In addition to FireDOOR’s three awards, Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives received recognition for its spa, resort offering and leadership.
The Spa at Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives was named Global Winner for Best Luxury Island Resort Spa and received Indian Ocean awards for Best Luxury Boutique Spa and Best Luxury Oceanview Spa.
The resort was also recognised as Best Luxury Boutique Resort and Best Luxury Lifestyle Resort in the Indian Ocean, while General Manager Raffaele Solferino received the Best General Manager award.
Solferino, who has been involved with the resort since its pre-opening phase, attributed the achievements to the work of the resort team.
“To receive nine World Luxury Awards, including two Global Winner titles, is an extraordinary honour and a wonderful recognition of our team’s passion and commitment,” he said.

Culinary recognition ahead of tenth anniversary
Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives opened in 2017 and will mark its tenth anniversary in 2027.
